At the Reorganization, April 12, 1862, Company F of the twelve months organization of the Regiment became Company G, as heretofore stated, and a new company, under Captain T. D. Gwin, was received into the Regiment as Company F, supplying the place of the second company (Captain Sanders) organized from Company F (Captain Duncan) of the twelve months organization of the Regiment, which had withdrawn from the Regiment and connected itself with the 2nd Regiment, Artillery, South Carolina Volunteers, then organizing.
The following muster rolls of the Company are available, and from them the succeeding roster thereof has been compiled: January 1, April 30, June 30, August 31, and December 31, 1863; June 30, August 31, October 31, and December 31, 1864, and February 28, 1865.
