Stokes, E. R., enrolled at Columbia, April 8, 1861, for State duty; mustered into Confederate service, May 22, 1861; reported on muster roll of January 8, 1862, as absent, sick; not on any subsequent available muster roll.
Ellwood R. Stokes, was killed in battle at Gettysburg Penn. July 2d 1863. His remains were brought to Col'a So. Ca. and buried at the Baptist Church March 8, 1866.
Stuckey, Christopher C. ( - 14 SEP 1862)
Christopher was from Kershaw County. He served in the Co. C, 6th SC Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action 14 Sep 1862, Boonesboro/South Mountain, MD.
