Historical Sketch:
The 20th Regiment, Pennsylvania Infantry Militia (Emergency, 1863) was a short-term Union unit raised to repel Robert E. Lee's invasion of Pennsylvania. Organized in Harrisburg on June 17, 1863, the regiment served in the Department of the Susquehanna during the Gettysburg Campaign before being mustered out on August 10, 1863.
