1st Battalion, New Jersey Veteran Infantry

HISTORICAL NOTES:
Non-Veterans of the New Jersey 1st Infantry Regiment left the front June, 1864, and mustered out at Trenton, N. J., June 23, 1864. Veterans and Recruits were attached to other Regiments of the Brigade till December, 1864, when they were organized into 1st New Jersey Veteran Battalion. ROSTERS:
The composite rosters of this unit contains the names of 403 men. It is included with the Historical Sketch and Roster of the New Jersey 1st Infantry Regiment. BIBLIOGRAPHY:
