1st Minnesota Volunteer Cavalry Regiment
HISTORICAL NOTES:
The 1st Regiment Cavalry "Mounted Rangers" was organized for frontier duty against Indians. The regiment lost during service 2 Officers and 4 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 31 Enlisted men by disease. Total 37.
