Maryland 6th Infantry Regiment


Historical Notes HISTORICAL NOTES:
The Maryland 6th Infantry Regiment was Organized at Baltimore, Md., August 12 to September 3, 1862. Moved to join Army of the Potomac in Western Maryland September 20, 1862.

The Regiment lost during service 8 Officers and 120 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 Officer and 107 Enlisted men by disease. Total 236.
