Historical Notes HISTORICAL NOTES:
I find no record of this unit. The "New" regiment was formed in 1862, so I assume this was a previous unit formed in 1861, although there is no mention with the "New" regiment that is was formed from the "Old" and no apparent overlap of the names in the rosters. Until further details can be found, I have included this roster in the Historical Sketch and Roster of the Maryland 4th Infantry Regiment (New). ROSTERS:
