Historical Notes HISTORICAL NOTES:
One hundred and two men are identified in the National Archives Index as belonging to the 1st Maryland Heavy Artillery Regiment, but no history has been found on this unit. Crute states that this unit did not complete organization, but that Company A was on duty in defense of Baltimore, MD. ROSTERS:
The rolls of this regiment contains the names of 102 men.
