The Maryland artillery actually consisted of 6 units which saw separate service:
Battery A, Light Artillery [1st], "Rigby's"
Battery B, Light Artillery [1st], "Snow's"
Battery D, Light Artillery
These units are maintained in the National Archives Index with separate rosters:
Baltimore, Light Artillery, "Alexander's" Battery A, Light Artillery [2nd], "Junior Artillery" Battery B, Light Artillery [2nd], "Eagle Artillery"
The other 3 are all together under the heading of the 1st Maryland Light Artillery Regiment. ROSTERS:
The rolls of this regiment contains the names of 1185 men.
