HISTORICAL NOTES:
The 32nd Illinois Infantry was Organized at Camp Butler, Ill., and mustered in December 31, 1861. The regiment was mustered out on September 16, 1865, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
The Regiment lost during service 8 Officers and 90 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 2 Officers and 168 Enlisted men by disease. Total 268.
