33rd Iowa Volunteer Infantry Regiment

HISTORICAL NOTES:
The 33rd Iowa Volunteer Infantry Regiment was organized at Oskaloosa and mustered in October 4, 1862. Left State for St. Louis, Mo., November 20.

The Regiment lost during service 3 Officers and 65 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 Officer and 215 Enlisted men by disease. Total 284. OFFICERS:
