Georgia 30th Cavalry Battalion

Historical Notes:
The Georgia 30th Cavalry Battalion was organized in May 1864. It, together with four companies raised under authority of the War Department from areas where the conscription act could not be enforced, became the 11th Regiment Georgia Volunteer Cavalry by S.O. #271 A&IGO (14 November 1864). Rosters:
No roster of this battalion has been found.
