Florida Aucilla Guards


HISTORICAL NOTES:
The Aucilla Guards were mustered into service 28 November 1861 by Captain William J. Baley, Jr., commanding the Post of St. Marks. Upon the formation of the 5th Regiment, in March 1862, this Company was dissolved and most of its members joined the 5th Infantry Regiment, Company G. ROSTERS:
The composite rosters of this unit contains the names of 54 men.
