The Arkansas 18th Infantry Regiment (Marmaduke's) was organized by the addition of 2 companies to the 1st Arkansas Infantry Battalion in Dec 1861. The designation was changed on 31 Jan 1862 to the 3rd Confederate Infantry Regiment OFFICERS:
