HISTORICAL NOTES:
The Alabama 15th Battalion Partisan Rangers (also called 1st Battalion) was assembled during the early spring of 1863. After serving in General Cumming's Brigade at le, the unit moved to Mississippi with Ruggles. That summer it merged into the 56th Alabama Regiment Partisan Rangers.OFFICERS:
