Connecticut 30th Infantry Regiment (African Descent)



HISTORICAL NOTES:

The 30th Regiment, Connecticut Infantry (Colored) was organized at New Haven, Connecticut and was mustered in March 1864. It was never filled to the maximum, only four companies were finally organized. On the 18th of May, 1864 the regiment was consolidated with 31st Regiment United States Colored Troops. ROSTERS:
