Connecticut 14th Infantry Regiment
HISTORICAL NOTES:
The 14th Regiment, Connecticut Infantry was organized at Hartford, Connecticut and was mustered in the 23rd of August, 1862. Before this regiment was mustered out of service May 31, 1865 a few veterans and recruits were transferred to the 2nd Regiment Connecticut Heavy Artillery
The Regiment lost during service 17 Officers and 188 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 Officer and 191 Enlisted men by disease. Total 397.

Attached to 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division, 2nd Army Corps, Army of the Potomac, to March, 1864. 3rd Brigade, 2nd Division, 2nd Army Corps, to May, 1865.
