9th Regiment, Tennessee Cavalry

Historical Notes:
The National Archives maintains two rosters for the Tennessee 9th Cavalry Regiment. This roster has no officers above the rank of Lieutenant. Perhaps these men belong with Ward's 9th Cavalry Regiment. There was also a Union unit known as the 9th Tennessee Cavalry. Rosters:
The roster of this unit contains the names of 388 men.
