5th Regiment, East Tennessee Cavalry (Union)

The 5th Regiment, East Tennessee Cavalry was organized at Camp Nelson, Ky. (5 Cos), for 10th Tennessee Cavalry, June 30 to August 14, 1863. It was assigned to the 8th Tennessee Cavalry in August, 1863. No separate roster for this unit has been found.
