The 5th Regiment, Tennessee Mounted Infantry was organized at Cleveland, Nashville, Calhoun and Chattanooga, Tenn., September 23, 1864. Mustered out July 17, 1865. Officers:

Expedition from Dalton to Coosawattie River and Spring Place, Ga., April 1-4.
