The following "Record of Events" is given on the muster roll of December 31, 1862:
The company of which this paper exhibits the statistick, was held in readiness for action at any moment during the prolonged engagement at and around Fredericksburg-beginning on the eleventh and ending on the fifteenth Decr 1862. The company was not called upon to engage the enemy but was to some extent annoyed by the shells. On the nigh of the 14th Dcr this company occupied a portion of the advance picket line-in the sububs of Fred. and during the night captured one prisoner-who had straggled into our lines. During the season in question the weather was extremely cold and the exposure of the men very great, they however withstood the inconveniences without a murmer thus manifesting a praiseworthy fortitude in making sacrifices for the good of their country.

The following "Record of Events" is given on the muster roll of February 28, 1863:
During the month of Feb this comp in common with the companies of the 5th Regt S. C. Vols marched from Fredericksburg to the location of this encampment--a distance of seventy miles. The weather was quite inelement with roads extremely bad, however the men suffered much fatigue, several giving out on the way.

The following "Record of Events" is given on the muster roll of June 30, 1863:
This company with the companies of this Regt have had seven marches having been stationed on Blackwater for some time till about the 5th of this month received orders to picket near Joiners Bridge the Regt was ordered to march and this company was left on post 3 days after it received orders to Join the Regt at murphysborugh, marched to within 6 miles of the village. received orders to join the Regt at Boyakin station which we did by 3 P M having made over 50 miles Bivouacked that night and marched back with the Regt to murphys station and took the cars for Petersburg via Weldon N C-arrived at Petersburg about daylight on the 10th remained there three days received orders take the cars for franklin station arrived at murphy station on the night of the 15th remained there two days & received orders to march to Ivo station where we arrived after night having marched about 25 miles in 10 hours we took the cars for Petersburg where we arrived about 2 oclock A M marched out about 3 miles and camped had drill every day and was reviewed near Petersburg the 27th by Genl. D H Hill who complimented us highly for our performance and military appearance; we then received orders to take the cars for the citty of Richmond where we arrived the 29th was marched out about 3 miles and Bivouacked and was mustered this day by our Col A Coward

The following "Record of Events" is given on the muster roll of August 31, 1863:
Since the last muster the company with its Regt has changed Camp from Richmond to Petersburg From Petersburg it was sent-with other Companies of the regiment to guard the bridge spanning Moherran river during the late threatened raid upon that region but the enemy having retired before reaching the point the company returned to Petersburg after an absence of three or four days, where it has since enjoyed perfect quiet.
The following "Record of Events" is given on the muster roll of August 31, 1864:
This company with the companies of the Regt was last mustered by Lt Col. J D. Wylie near this place. we have had several marches along the line between this place and malvern Hill was in a skirmish fight with the enemy on the 14h August 1864 and lost ten men only one supposed to be wounded. was engaged in a fight with the enemy on the 16h near Newmarket Heights was on the north side of the James river lost one man killed and three wounded. was ordered to petersburg about the 20h, have not been engaged since, now in camp drilling twice a day Inspected on the 30h by Brigade Inspector mustered to day by Col A. Coward this August 31st, 1864

The following "Record of Events" is given on the muster roll of October 31, 1864:
This company with the other companys of the Regt was last mustered August 31 1864 near Petersburg Va Received orders to march to the north side of the James River on the 29 of Sept 1864 & was engaged in the Battle of at Fort Harrison & lost 5 men wounded it was then engaged throwing up Breast works untill the 6th--of OCT--.. 1864 it then Received orders with the other cs of the Regt-. to move to the Darbytown Road & was in the Battle near the Johnson House on the 7th OCT.. Capt Camp & one man was severely wounded then fell back & was engaged throwing up Breast works untill the 18 of Oct. the Enemy attacted portions of our works & was repulsed we were partialy engaged we remained there for several days & then moved to the Charles City Road & went to fortifying until the 27th--of Oct.-1864 we this Co was then moved to the left of the Williamsburg road to meet the Enemy but the works that this Co occupied was not attacted by the Enemy.

The following "Record of Events" is given on the muster roll of December 31, 1864:
This Company with the other companys of the Regt was last mustered 31 th-.. of October 1864 at camp near Richmond Virginia and on the 10th. Decr-.. Received orders to march near new market heights on a reconnoisance, had some slight skirmishing but no regular engagement and lost no men we found the Enemy in heavy force and strongly fortyfied we returned to camp on the same day this company with the rest of the Regt and Brigade Received orders on the night of 22th Decr.. to march to Richmond to take the cars for Andeons Mills we arrived thar about 10 oclock in the morning 23th and found the Enemy about two milds distant in considerable force this company was thrown out on skirmish and after firing a few rounds the Enemy Retired we remained thar untill 24th- and received orders to Return to camps
