According to the 1880 Census of Grayson Co, TX, Carrie was 37 years old (birthdate 1842/43 if correct) and born in SC. Robert was 39, and their sons were Thomas, age 14, and Wiley, age 13 (also born in SC -- family information indicates that they moved in the early 1870's). Also in the family was a nephew, Joe Harrison, age 3 and born in TX.

Carrie's family was not listed in the 1850 Census of Noxubee Co, MS so I seem to be looking for a Harrison family who moved there after that date (though there were several Harrisons there much earlier who may have been related). It is also possible that her family was in the adjoining MS county, Lowndes. From an old photograph showing two girls, I think Carrie had at least one sister, but other family members are unknown.
