Today's trip will take us to Hopkinsville, Kentucky where there is another Interpretive Center and some original trail which we can hike, then a ferry across the Ohio River where the Cherokee were caught in a winter blizzard for a couple of weeks with half on one side of the river huddling at Cave in Rock, Illinois. We then travel southwest to Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
