Mississippi 8th Infantry Battalion

Historical Notes:
On April 9, 1865, the Mississippi 8th Infantry Regiment was consolidated with the Mississippi 32nd Infantry Regiment, the 3rd Infantry Battalion and a portion of the 5th Infantry Regiment to become the 8th Mississippi Infantry Battalion. Battles:
