8th/12th Consolidated Regiment, Kentucky Cavalry

HISTORICAL NOTES:
Following Gen. Mrgan's capture, some remaining men of the 8th and 12th Kentucky Cavalry Regiments consolidated and continued to serve primarily in West Virginia and eastern Kentucky. The 28 men who appear on the roster are primarily officers. There may have been many more in this unit. OFFICERS:
