W. B. served in the 16th Infantry Regiment, Company G. - private July 20,1861. Wounded at Gettysburg, Pa. July 3,1863, and died of wounds near there in 1863. He is buried at Cunninghams place across the creek from Crawfords Wofords Brigade Hospital, McLaws Division, Longstreets Corps.
