Currently two volumes are available. These book provide family sketches and genealogical information on the first families to settle in Clinch County, GA. The earliest settlers date back to the late 1700s.

By the time of the 1830 census, Clinch county had 637 families. Earlier census records for Lowndes and Ware counties go back to 1830. The First Families Project - Clinch County, GA CD-ROM has surname folders on these families with notes we have gathered in our research over the years. This volume focuses on the families which were apparently in the area as early as 1780.
