HISTORICAL NOTES:

The New Hampshire 1st Light Artillery Battery was organized at Manchester and mustered in September 21, 1861. It numbered 258 men and lost by death 12, of whom one-half were killed or died of wounds and 6 by disease. OFFICERS:
