The 1st Independent Battery Light Artillery was Organized at Fort Snelling, Minn., November 21, 1861. The Battery lost during service 1 Officer and 7 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 Officer and 29 Enlisted men by disease. Total 38. OFFICERS:
