Historical Notes:
The 11th Regiment, Michigan Cavalry was organized at Kalamazoo and Detroit, Michigan, October 7 to December 10, 1863. It was consolidated with the 8th Michigan Cavalry July 20, 1865. The regiment lost during service 4 Officers and 24 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 114 Enlisted men by disease. Total 142.
