HISTORICAL NOTES:
Previously, Capt.E. A Fernandez was a Sergeant in Company G,2 nd Florida Infantry. He was wounded and captured at the Battle Of Williamsburg.
He lost a foot/part of his right leg at Williamsburg. He was imprisoned for awhile,was released, got a medical discharge as an infantryman,then re-enlisted as a Quartermaster. There was a female Antonia Fernandez that rode with him.
